We are a play based school. We believe children learn best through teacher directed play.
Each class writes their own curriculum based off the Massachusetts state standards and guidelines.
All of our teachers are EEC certified and CPR & First Aid certified.
Our infant teachers partner with parents to learn their infants individualized schedules. During our day we explore various bouncers, practice tummy time, and try a variety of sensory activities throughout the day.
This is our mobile infant room. Intended to facilitate the exploration of gross motor skills and foster communication through circle time, songs, and books.
The toddler room focuses on fostering independence and effective communication with friends and educators. The daily routine comprises diverse activities, including art projects, outdoor play, block building, and movement breaks.
Our older toddlers are working towards becoming preschoolers. We encourage a great deal of self-sufficiency, communal sharing, and the management of our emotions in both social and personal contexts. We relish the opportunity to explore both the indoor and outdoor environments.
In our preschool classroom, we engage in the exploration of diverse toys and projects, while simultaneously fostering the development of positive social interactions and relationships. We place emphasis on the importance of both independent and collaborative learning.
The Pre-K classroom is dedicated to fostering both play and learning to the fullest extent possible. Our activities include a variety of games, puzzles, art projects and reading materials. We also love exploring the great outdoors!
Children who miss the kindergarten cutoff and are remaining at BCC for an additional year will attend our K-Prep program. This class prepares children for the following year by following more of a conventional Kindergarten routine!
